About
Janet Mitsuji is an artist whose practice spans a variety of different media. It is guided by a set of thematic and conceptual drivers rather than a commitment to any single material form. In her work, the ideas of fragmentation, reclamation, and metamorphosis are given expression. Mitsuji’s art seeks to capture intangible emotions through its use of absence and presence, and unapologetically celebrates the imperfect. She recently graduated with a Master of Art (with Excellence) from UNSWA&D.
